Bottle #1: Whistle Pig 10 Year Single Barrel Selection

Description

Originally intended to be distributed at Identiverse 2020 in Boulder Colorado, this private selection took a southern turn to Richmond, Virginia. The astute team of Steve Hutchinson, Jon Lehtinen, and Matt Topper were sent 4 samples from individual barrels. These bottles were then split up and sent across the country for a private Zoom tasting whereby a single barrel was selected specifically for the palettes of the Identerati.

The sample from Barrel Number 107908 was selected as the perfect cask. Originally pulled on January 31, 2020, the barrel came in at 102.4 proof and was barreled at full strength. Strong buttery tasting notes were found with hints of vanilla, caramel, and a touch of toffee. This is a one and only opportunity to purchase this exclusive bottle as only 132 were made.
